My work explores our connections and experiences in life through the mediums of paint, inviting people into my conscious and subconscious being. Painting allows me to express my thoughts and emotions through an arbitrary expression of colour and experience. Sometimes unwittingly portraying my sense of self and others.

My inspiration is sourced through numerous channels for example music, literature, popular culture, lived experience. The paintings themselves transform an image into a mixture of investigations. On a superficial and tangible plane the work explores the medium of paint, experimenting with mark making and application of paint to understand and develop its possibilities.
